Our Story

Our Restaurant is located in Blenheim, New Zealand and opened its doors on February 11, 2021 by Boe Aitchison and co-owner Nat Moran. Boe has a passion for hospitality and serving the local community a fresh, delicious and beautiful Japanese cuisine. Boe has 23 years experience in Marlborough, her love of food keeps the menu authentic and the atmosphere here at Gohan lively and welcoming. From sharing small plates or whole meals, Boe wants you to feel excited about new flavors and being well taken care of by her and the team.
